The only reason that we are giving this a two star review and not a one star review is because of sweet Violetta who came in at the end to assist and brighten the negative mood that was set by our consultant. Violetta was the only saving grace to this bridal boutique experience. Patty, our consultant made us feel very put off. Her attitude towards the whole bridal party was negative. From the moment we walked in she seemed annoyed and irritated even though we had made an apppointment. After bringing us upstairs to begin what should have a pleasant experience, she was short with the bride and was not interested with any of the bridal party's suggestions and abrupt when answering any questions we had. Her level of customer service is not what would be expected from a consultant in a bridal store. She was visibly irritated throughout the entire process by sighing loudly when we would make suggestions and when stated we needed to think about it, she continued this behavior as she hung dresses up. I would highly recommend if you so choose to search for your wedding dress here, make sure you request to not meet with Patty.
My mom lives near the Linwood area, so we decided to research some boutiques nearby. I called Dress 2 Impress and spoke with Patty on the phone. I explained to her my hardships and she said to me "Honey, I'm going to find you your dress." I was doubtful and I told her "Meh, I doubt it but we sure can try." So, I go to my scheduled appointment and Patty describes the different designers and their history then we pulled some dresses and went into the fitting room. The second dress we tried one - was my dress. It was perfect. I walked out of the room and my mom and sister were in awe. Keep in mind that my mom and sister had been with my to NY and to ALL of the other dress shops. Their faces were just different when I walked out with that dress. I looked in the mirror and just knew - this was my wedding dress. We laughed, we cried and we rang the bell and popped champagne. I would never have found my dress if it wasn't for Patty.
I had good and fabulous experience finding my gown here at D2I Bridal and Formal Boutique. My friend recommended me this place to check out and I'm so glad I did. As I came in this place, my first impression in this place could be fauncy. I'm thinking and I'm just a little worried that the dresses here are out of my budget, but I'm very surprised that all dresses that I'm looking at all fell within my price range. The lady who helped me to choose a best dress that suit for me is Violet; she is so sweet, friendly and took time for me. I felt no pressure and they made me feel at ease. – After explaining what I was looking for she was able to give me suggestions and I ended up choosing one she suggested. I found the dress quickly and the process was so enjoyable and painless. She made me feel everything what I expecting to feel when I made dress shopping.
I went to Dress 2 Impress back in October 2016 in search for "the one". I had already been to a solid 10 dress stores (including the infamous Kleinfelds in NY), I had tried on all sorts of styles with multiple bridal consultants. I'm an indecisive person so I knew that finding my wedding dress would be a struggle. I just didn't think it would be THIS much of a struggle.
I had a WONDERFUL experience purchasing my dress at Dress 2 Impress. I learned they were having a trunk show of Venus dresses and I scheduled an appointment. I spoke with Patty over the phone and asked if they had samples in store of 2 dresses I was particularly interested in. Patty was very sweet and although the store did not carry samples of those 2 dresses, she offered to request them in the trunk show. I was so so happy and it was wonderful she went out of the way to do that! When I had my appointment, Chrystal was AMAZING! She was sweet, and patient, and even dimmed the lights to show me how my dress would sparkle at the reception. I cannot speak highly enough of her! She helped me not to talk myself out of getting the dress I loved! After I said YES to my dress, we popped some champagne, snacked on chocolates! Made it very welcoming and a very relaxing experience!
It's now about 7 months later and I'm writing this review because there is so much more to buying a dress. You have go back for measurements and, of course, alterations. Violet handles the alterations and she is the sweetest little woman ever! She is honest in her expectations of you as a bride and your "body". She keeps it real and I LOVE IT.
I will recommend this place to everyone! I went yesterday for my wedding dress and there was so many beautiful dresses. Right off the bat Patty that helped me pick my dress was so wonderful! They had a great selection, the place is so clean, roomy, and welcoming. Violetta is so wonderful as well. They were both so helpful and so happy for me when I found my dress. They make you feel very special and I will return for bridesmaid and flower girl attire as well. Highly recommend! Thank you for helping me pick my dress for my special day!
I seriously had the hardest time finding my dress but I am SO thankful with how everything turned out. I travel over an hour to get to Dress 2 Impress but I absolutely LOVE going to see Patty and Violet. I can't wait for the finished product and I can't wait to see my fiance's face on our wedding day.
